1950: Founding
Hugo Heidelberger founded the company in Kempten with two employees on a production area of 100 m².
1960: First Growth Step
The company acquires its first own building with a 200 m² production area and begins tool manufacturing. The number of employees grows to eight.
1980: Transformation & Expansion
Due to increasing automation, file production is discontinued. Peter Heidelberger joins the company. In the same year, the company begins special machine construction—a pivotal step for its future.
1998: Relocation & Expansion
After several expansions, the company relocates to a new building with a 2,000 m² production area. The number of employees increases to 20.
Today: A Globally Operating Company
Heidelberger & Sohn's customers are represented worldwide, including in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South America.
